Nothing to say about that.
The hotel was extremely noisy, the beds were very unconfortable and the room, not clean at all. The breakfast that was served had toasts, cheese and a small glass of orange juice; I would not consider this as a continental breakfast. If you want a cheap hotel, situated in the center of Amsterdam, you can certainly find a better place!

The first night we arrived the lady at reception was very very helpful and very friendly but for the rest of the stay, the staff was ok but very shy and not very welcoming! The room was fine but a bit small for the 3of us but generally the stay was alright!

Location: ***** It is in the 'middle of life'. It is the Origo.
They tried to debit the full amount once before the free cancellation date. Pay with card fee: 5% !!! Anyway correct.

The only good thing about the hotel was is location
I payed €400 for one night and the hotel was more like a hostal !! The rooms were dirty (nothing like the photos) There was no breakfast in the morning... A friend of mine was on crutches and was unable to get up the stairs which is more like a ladder and had to find a different hotel. The lady on reception said she would resell the room. Later on in the evening the windows were smashed out but fireworks and when I asked if we could change rooms I was told the hotel was full booked... The glass wasn't cleaned up and a card board box was celitaped over the broken window. I am now home and my card has been charged for the room that the lady re sold ... This is called fraud using someone's card details without permission !! You have to be mad to stay in this run down hostal !!

I was slightly concerned about this hotel after having read some negative reviews, particularly those regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. However we were happy to find our room spotless, as was the adjacent toilet and shower room. We were brought clean towels 1st thing every morning, and the staff were friendly and helpful. As it is situated above a very busy bar,in the centre of a popular party spot, noise may be a concern for some travellers- I wouldnt reccomend this to those with children. However we were fortunate,as our room was at the very top and rear of the building. In all,we were not spending alot of time in the room, and were pleased with our stay.

Not much but it was a place to put your head down at night! My partner and I managed to miss all the no smoking signs throughout the hotel - and the 100 euro fine sign next to reception. We were on the top floor no fun with a 2 stone case! No lifts but that is as expected in Amsterdam! It was cheap but could have been cheaper! Never seen breakfast so can't comment on that! Glad we were at the back of the hotel - not much of a view but at least we got some sleep as this is right in the centre of about 30 pubs and on a friday/sat/sunday night it was quite noisy from the back. We never had a problem sleeping though as were were that knackered. Great place just to put your head down at night but you do need to do a bit of walking to get back up to RLD.
The smallness of the room - there was actually no where to put your clothes nowhere to even put your cases! We were in small room number 22 at the top floor in the loft. The window didn't close properly and we were paranoid that we were going to get broken into (that's if there were any spidermen out there willing to climb the building to get into our room) but still a bit dodgy as you never know. No Smoking - although we did (fixing a bag to the fire alarm done the trick)- the smell of weed was all about the hotel so we weren't the only ones who were being bad! Never got charged for it though so we were lucky! I think if we set it off we may have had to pay.

It was close to Rembrandt Sq and easy to get to.
I wish I had known that there was an after hours club situated in the building. My room was on the top floor and heard the thumping of club music until the after sun came up.

Cheap for Amsterdam, good location.
You will get no sleep at this hotel. It is above a disco bar and opposite several noisy bars. Once the loud music stops the streets fill with drunken revellers. Although this was our cheapest option it was decently not value for money. It's like a hostel with hotel prices.

This hotel is located above a night club. This causes the rooms to be full with noise from 2200 to 0500 and it's impossible to sleep!! It was an awful experience and you don't want to do the mistake we did! ***Dont go to this hotel***

Good localization close to the old town centre, breakfast was ok
There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow
